MBBO invites all global citizens to enjoy membership

MBBO members will have a strong sense of affiliation with members of the global mediation community and will feel valued, engaged, and enjoy working with the respective communities and cultures that comprise the Oceania region.

Membership Levels

A professional member is active in MBBO and is available to participate as a practitioner in MBBO peacebuilding and conflict resolution activities.

  • Have full voting rights.
  • Enjoy access to community of practice zoom sessions.
  • Receive MBBO Newsletter.
  • Participate in all networking and social events.
  • Email signature.
  • Participate in MBBO committees and subcommittees.
  • Participate in a professional capacity in MBBO projects or activities.
  • They are professionally accredited to perform as an ADR practitioner.
  • They have current and will maintain personal professional indemnity and insurance.

A Corporate Member is a business or professional entity and is recognised as a supporter and member of MBBO. Corporate members will have a nominated company representative with whom all communication between the corporate member and MBBO will be exchanged.

  • Participate in all networking and social events.

An ordinary member can belong to and be active in MBBO but does not intend to participate as a practitioner in peacebuilding and conflict resolution projects.

  • Participate in all networking and social events.
  • Email signature.

We have two additional membership classifications:

  • Patron
  • Student

Which are offered at the discretion of the MBBO board.

Engagement Opportunities 

MBBO employs a dynamic committee mechanism to achieve its goals and have a regional impact. Core committees have longevity year to year and are part of ensuring we remain sustainable and compliant with regulations and goals.
